Read the installation manual carefully before installing the carpet.
LS C&S is not liable for any defect caused due to failure in keeping the following recommendations:

1. Checking & preparation of product

1) Checking the product

- Check label on the product, and make sure that the product is what you have ordered.
- The label contains the following information:
① Product name ② Color / pattern ③ Thickness and size ④ Quantity

2) Preparation

- Keep the product at room temperature for at least 24 hours before installing. Check the design and
color of the product, and the area of the place.
- Make sure that all tiles have the same lot number.

2. Preparation

1) Floor

  purgotex image

- The floor must be level and free from oil, water or dirt.
- Water content on the floor must be not higher than 4%. If it exceeds 4%, you must have it dried before installing the carpet. For a new
concrete building, a curing period of at least 6 weeks is required.
- The temperature of the site must be 10~35℃. Installation must not be done at any temperature lower than 10℃.
- The floor must be flat and level. Any uneven spot or depression must be repaired with putty or other appropriate method before installing the
  product.

※ If you wish to install the product on any floor other than concrete, please first consult with an LS C&S sales representative.

2) Cautions

- To check the consistency of the color, check the "Lot No." on the label before installation.
- Before applying additives, check if there is any defect or color difference on the surface of the product. Contact the service center before
  applying additives.

3) Adhesives

Purgotex tiles must be attached completely to the floor by one of the following two methods:

   A. Bonding

► In a place having heavy pedestrian traffic or where heavy loads are expected (e.g., wheelchairs, near service elevators or near an
information desk), it is recommended to bond the tiles to the floor.

   B. Adhesion

► This method provides an adhesive force sufficient to prevent only movement of the product.

You should apply adhesives directly to floor with a brush or roller, and when dried the adhesive creates an adhesive film.

     ► Recommended adhesives (glue)

 W-310SE (Carpet tile glue)

CT-100 (Carpet tile adhesives)

1. Structure of product
W-310SE is a water-soluble single-compound acrylic glue with less smell improved workability.

2. Characteristics

1) Superior initial adhesion.
2) Excellent water-resistance, alkali-resistance and durability.
3) Superior workability and low-temperature adhesive force.

3. Installation method

1) Remove any dirt, rust, water or oil from the surface of the floor.
2) Pour glue on the floor, apply evenly with a scraper, wait for
10~20 minutes, and then, press down evenly so that the
carpet tile should not come off.
(Store the remaining glue in a sealed container.)
3) Standard amount of glue applied: 0.25~0.35kg/㎡(1kg/pyeong)
4) Flammability: None

3. Installation

The manufacturer is not responsible for any claim on quality raised after installation.
Contact the manufacturer before installation if you have any query.

1) Installation
ⅰ. Use the least number of tiles. Mark center lines on the floor so that tiles installed at the edge should
be at least 1/2 in size.
ⅱ. When marking center lines, they should be crossed at right angles.
ⅲ. Divide the area into 4 sections with center lines, determine the installation sequence, and apply
adhesives to one of the sections first (1/4).
ⅳ. Because it takes time to finish tiles at the edge of an area, apply adhesives separately.
ⅴ. Apply adhesives for appropriate area in consideration of installation speed.
ⅵ. Install tiles from the center line and in an 'L' pattern.
ⅶ. Pay attention to the "open time" of adhesives before starting installation.
ⅷ. Carpets can be fully attached or partially attached. Adhesives maintain their adhesive force, and
therefore, it is possible to repair installation.
ⅸ. Install carpets on other sections in the same manner.

2) Cautions

- Do not step on a contaminant, but remove it immediately. If the contaminant is solid, scrape off with a
finger first. If it is liquid, wipe it off lightly with blotting paper, tissue or soft lint-free cloth.
- If you need to move something heavy on the floor within 24 hours after installation, make sure to
protect the floor with a cover.
