Bonnet buffing Cleaning |
- A method of cleaning carpet mainly on the surface. With this method you spray small
amounts of water on the surface and apply detergent at the same time, then you
vacuum the water with a suction vacuum cleaner designed for this purpose. This
method prevents water or detergent from sinking deep inside the carpet.
- Bonnet buffing can be done in a short period of time, and keeps the carpet dry. You
can use the carpet right after cleaning.

Wet
cleaning |
- With this cleaning method you use a large amount of water and detergent and wait
until the contaminants are soaked in the water. Then you use a polishing machine to
wash carpet fibers hard.
- Wet cleaning is used in places with heavy contamination or regardless of the
contamination level. You can even clean fibers at the root of a carpet, and therefore
you may use this method for thorough cleaning.
- Because a large amount of water is used, you should be careful to use wet
cleaning in places with poor waterproofing.
